18++ Forever Love (2012)
When Kara (Adipati Dolken) reaches 18, he wishes he can have this grandfather’s (Roy Marten) promise of a gift. But it turns out that gift is not money, car nor a chance to travel the world. It is self-reliance. At 18 Kara loses everything: facilities, wealth and most probably too, the socialites he calls friends.
Kara must return to Jakarta, intending to demand what has been his right from his grandfather. But then he gets involved in a fight and knocked out. A girl, Mila (Kimberly Ryder), saves him and carries him home. Thinking that Kara is a decent, ordinary boy, Mila’s family, that is her mother (Keke Soeryo Renaldi) and her sister Sasi (Reska Tania), house him at their humble place.
Being used to living in comfort, Kara is shocked to learn about his new circumstantce. But slowly he feels challenged to be able to give something in return for the family by doing old jobs. His relationship with that family grows stronger. But his friends find him eventually, they would like to bring him back to his old life full of parties.
Mila catches him drinking with his friends. She immediately throws him out of the house, and her life. But Kara then relizes that he can’t fit anymore into his old way of life. He wants to return to Mila, who rejects him relentlessly. Unbeknown to Kara, Mila has a big secret concerning her past.
