A young college student moves to a new boarding house in a very haunted area.
Sam chooses to stay in an old house next to the cemetery, rather than live with her stepfather. On the first day, the boarding house manager unintentionally sings the Durmo song believed to be used to summon the kuntilanak (female vampiric ghost). No one knows that Sam has the gift to summon the kuntilanak who is believed to be living in a big tree. The kuntilanak enters through the four mirrors inside the old house. A fight between Sam and a fellow boarder leaves the latter killed horribly. The following conflicts end up with Sam in a trance while singing the Durmo song, and the death of everyone who has a problem with her. Meanwhile, Agung, Sam’s boyfriend, tries to fix their chaotic relationship. The stubborn Sam argues with Agung. Later, she goes in a trance to sing the Durmo song. The kuntilanak shown recalls the ghost in Jelangkung, for example, the headlights that produce the silhouettes. Agung becomes the only kuntilanak victim to survive.
