The career of Tiar Sarigar, an ambitious young lawyer from Batak origin, suddenly skyrockets thanks to her courage to defend Basuki’s corruption case involving Arif Rupawan, a mob boss. Because of media coverage, Tiar becomes famous and also the target of death threats from Arif who fears Tiar would expose his involvement.
To protect Tiar, come two super agents: Ari and Sasha. They sometimes justifies any means, including recruiting Tiar’s office receptionist, Aan, a plain Sunda guy, to be a spy by “becoming” Tiar’s boyfriend. Unfortunately, the existence of Aan as Tiar’s “boyfriend” is taken seriously by Tiar’s family, because Aan is not a Batak. In order to maintain his disguise, Aan tries to ingratiate Sarigar’s big family.
On the other hand, Mrs Sarigar is trying to match Tiar with Raymond, a perfectly handsome Batak, so Tiar would “break up” with Aan. Unexpectedly, with his innocence Aan really takes Tiar’s heart. Aan also encourages Mrs. Sarigar to achieve her goal to become a stand-up comedian.
The problem arises when Aan’s mother, Euis, knows about the relationship of Aan and Tiar. Euis who is trying to accept a non-Sundanese daughter-in-law, shocks while dealing with Sarigar’s family. Moreover madame Sarigar also takes advantage of Euis’ panic. She intimidates Aan to cancel his proposal.
